The interior is constructed of reclaimed virgin cypress and pine, with every board and beam reflecting the timeless character of 18th century Cajun craftsmanship.
The cabin features a queen-size bed in the primary bedroom and two twin beds in the second bedroom, with a comfortable sofa and love seat in the living room. The bathroom includes a bathtub/shower combination. A large TV, WiFi, and DirecTV keep you connected when you’re ready to wind down for the evening.
The open living and dining area connects to a fully equipped kitchen – perfect for preparing your fresh catch after a day on the water. Outside, you’ll find a covered fish-cleaning station with a sink, cutting boards, and containers ready for use.
The cabin sits on waterfront property right off Pierre Part Bay, with a large covered dock where you can fish or tie up your boat. A boat ramp is within walking distance for launching out to explore the beautiful waterways surrounding Pierre Part, including Lake Verret and Belle River. You may even catch a glimpse of familiar faces from Swamp People – Duffy’s Gas Station, their home base, is just a couple of miles south on Hwy. 70.
